The Supply Chain Technician will work 12 hour shifts and applicants must have the availability to work a matrix schedule - up to 4 shifts per week, including nights and weekends.

Position Goals

The job description for the Supply Chain Coordinator at Hospitality Health ER provides criteria for the evaluation of
the Supply Chain Coordinator position. The Supply Chain Coordinator at Hospitality Health ER keeps up with the
stocking, delivery, and ordering of all supplies used at the Hospitality Health ER facility. This position performs a
variety of tasks in order to maintain adequate stock of patient rooms, hallways, pharmacy, and supply room. The
position follows standard practices and procedures set for the department as well as outlined in the Employee
Handbook and the Policies and Procedures Manual. The position complies with regulatory requirements.

Position Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Facility Services Manager, the responsibilities of the Supply Chain Technician at Hospitality Health ER are, but not limited to:

  • Performing a variety of tasks in order to ensure the facility is adequately supplied and stocked with the necessary
    materials
  • Changing and replacing hazardous waste containers from patient rooms, hallways, and IV stations
  • Preparing pharmacologic equipment for faster delivery of care by clinical staff
  • Transporting supplies from the off‐site warehouse
  • Communicating to supervisor when equipment is not working or of any safety hazards
  • Unloading, putting away, and delivering freight when it arrives
  • Replacing medication in pharmacy when asked to
  • Keeping the supply closet organized, clean and restock daily
  • Transporting materials to other facilities
  • Communicating with patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly manner
  • Delivering high quality customer service to every patient you encounter
  • Reporting any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazard or any unusual
    occurrence to the department supervisor
  • Being a valuable teammate at all times, when asked to help with other tasks and/or other duties as requested
  • Maintaining professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies

Education/Experience

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent is preferred but not required
  • Ability to read, speak, and write the English language
  • Must follow oral and written directions
  • Valid Driver’s License
