Position Goals for the Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator at Hospitality Health ER functions includes branding and community outreach to maintain the reputation throughout the community and growing patient volume. The Marketing Coordinator will enhance the overall perspective of the brand through internal and external marketing events.

Position Responsibilities for the Marketing Coordinator

Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator at Hospitality Health ER will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Assist the Marketing Director, as directed, with tasks related to creating and maintaining a patient-centered focus by engaging in a positive working relationship with all community members, not limited to physicians, educators, and emergency responders
  • Adhering to Company values and exhibiting sensitivity to Company ethics and compliance principles in daily activities
  • Prioritizing outreach events and meetings to establish and maintain a presence in the community
  • Identifying, organizing and executing local events both internally and externally of the facility
  • Seeking and building relationships to funnel patients to the facility
  • Partnering with local schools and sports teams
  • Engaging in local fundraising events
  • Networking throughout the community in various groups including the local Chamber
  • Under the direction of the Marketing Director, assist in maintaining social media platforms, including creating posts and other content.
  • Preparing local events to include, but not limited to, ordering marketing items and gifts, identifying participant needs and scheduling volunteers, and setup/tear-down at events
  • Maintaining inventory of all patient and marketing gifts; ordering gifts and replenishment as needed
  • Utilizing all resources in the most efficient way, including but not limited to: time/scheduling, supply/gift ordering, and staff involvement
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects timely and efficiently
  • Proven ability to work as both a team member and independently to perform job responsibilities and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain timely, clear, and proactive communication with Marketing Director
  • Creativity in decorating unique event setups and tablespaces
  • Weekends Required!

Position Requirements for the Marketing Coordinator

The requirements for the Marketing Coordinator at Hospitality Health ER are:

  • Marketing Coordinator accepts the position and responsibilities as primary job and does not engage in any activity, business, or employment, either during or after working hours, that would conflict with HHER’s interests of diminishing the ability of the Marketing Coordinator to render to the company the full, loyal, and undivided service which is contemplated in his or her employment by HHER; prior to accepting additional employment, paid monetarily or in exchange of services, must have prior approval by the VP of Business Development.
  • Marketing experience in the local Longview area
  • Membership with local chambers and business to business networks
  • Critical thinking skills; ability to work autonomously and make efficient use of time and resources
  • Integrity and responsibility; will have access to company credit card and petty cash, and the company vehicle
  • Current driver’s license with no restrictions
  • Flexibility to meet scheduling demands of department including evenings and weekends

Education/Experience for the Marketing Coordinator

High School Graduate/Equivalent; degree preferred

Previous marketing experience preferred but not required

Graphics Design experience is a plus!

Physical Demands for the Marketing Coordinator

Requires full range of body motion

Standing and walking for an extensive period of time

Bending / Stooping

Using arm, leg, and back muscles for extended periods

Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing greater than 50 pounds

Requires working under stressful conditions

Working irregular hours, including nights and weekends
